Opening created between kitchen + living room

Existing mid century modern fireplace repainted

Water-Sense fixtures, recycled concrete + glass countertop, locally made cabinet made with sustainably forested wood

New commercial style range was placed in existing (non-working) fireplace and fitted with high velocity exhaust fan

Adding side walls on both sides of the family room created a quiet den area which is still open to family activity
